Chairman Of The Board
He was born in Ankara in 1979. He completed his primary education at Kocatepe Primary School, his secondary education at Konya Private Lale College, and his high school education at Private Ankara Aziziye High School.
He graduated from the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Başkent University in 2004. In the same year, he started his professional career at Turaç Foreign Trade Ltd. Co. In 2006, he completed his master’s degree in Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Başkent University.
In addition to serving as the General Manager of Turaç Foreign Trade, he also serves as the Chairman of the Board at Avcity Outdoor Sports E-Commerce Inc., Altunbaş Foreign Trade and Industry Inc., and TSA Defense Inc.
He became a member of MÜSİAD (Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association) in 2013. In 2017, he launched the Defense Industry and Aviation Sector, which he founded within MÜSİAD Ankara. In 2021, he moved the sector to the organization’s headquarters structure and served as the Chairman of the Defense Industry and Aviation Sector Board until May 2025. In the same year, he was elected as a Member of the Board of Directors of MÜSİAD.
Between 2018 and 2020, he served as a Member of the Executive Board of the Defense Industry Specialized Committee at the Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO).
Since 2019, he has been serving as the President of SASK (Sterling Shooting Sports Club).
In October 2019, he served as the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the 2nd MRBS (Military Radar and Border Security Summit), organized by MÜSİAD.
In November 2019, he was elected as a Member of the Board of Directors and Secretary General of the Association of Firearms Manufacturers and Explosives Businessmen (SİSİAD), and he served as Secretary General until October 2025.
In January 2018, he was elected Chairman of the DEİK (Foreign Economic Relations Board) Mali Business Council and continued in this role until 2024. During the same period, he also served as a Member of the Executive Board of the Indonesia and Mozambique Business Councils. As of 2024, he has been elected Chairman of the DEİK Sierra Leone Business Council.
In January 2020, he was appointed Deputy Coordinator Chairman of the DEİK Turkey-Africa Business Councils, a position he held until 2022.
In August 2022, he was elected as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Africa Handicrafts and Culture House Association, and as of 2025, he serves on the Executive Board of the Association.
In May 2025, he was elected as a Full Member of the Board of Directors of MÜSİAD.
He speaks English fluently, and is married with three children.
Ahmet AKŞAHİN
Vice Chairman of the Board
Mr. Akşahin was born in Ankara in 1981. He completed his primary education at Hazar Primary School, secondary education at Yeşilevler Secondary School, and high school education at Private Ankara Aziziye High School. In 2004, he graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration (English).
He started his business life at Turac Dıs Ticaret LTD ŞTI and continues to work as the Vice General Manager. He obtained Certified Public Accountant License in 2015.
He is married and has two children. He can speak English fluently.
